Bohunt School Services
Due to higher demand from HCC and Bohunt School for places on the buses, we have to share the overall load between routes, where bus routes cross.
This means your child may now be on a different route from previous years.
We appreciate some students may prefer to travel with friends, and that some of the changes may result in a slightly longer walk to the bus stop, but these changes are absolutely necessary in order to ensure everybody can be sure of a space on the bus.

BOHUNT SCHOOL BUS NETWORK
Richardson Travel Ltd, has run a network of Bus Routes into the school since 1989.
Arrangements differ for pupils living inside the catchment area and for those outside the catchment area, please see below. Please be aware that Routes 991 and 996 are run by Bohunt School anybody wishing to travel on either of these routes must contact the school.
For those parents living within the Bohunt Catchment area, application for “free travel” has to be made to Hampshire County Council from whom the application forms are available.
Richardson Travel Ltd cannot enter into any discussion as to entitlement to “free travel”. Children may use the services on payment of the normal cash fare until an application to HCC is processed and a Pass ordered.
Each child requires an individual and separate application even if siblings are already in receipt of “free travel”
Unless an application has been received and processed by the Council before the commencement of the new school year, your child will only be able to travel on the buses by paying the cash-fare until a Season Ticket is issued.
For those parents failing to qualify for ‘Free Travel’ on the grounds that their home address is outside the catchment area the network currently serves the BEACON HILL, HINDHEAD, GRAYSHOTT, HEADLEY DOWN, HEADLEY, LINDFORD & BORDON AREAS to the north and the PETERSFIELD AND MIDHURST AREAS to the south and east.
Application forms can be downloaded at the bottom of this page. The scope and capacity of the route network is entirely dependant upon the number of “registrations” received by mid-July at the latest.
All parents wishing to purchase season tickets should send completed season ticket registration forms with a deposit of £75.00 by post to:-
Richardson Travel Ltd. The Coach Depot, Pitsham Lane, Midhurst,
West Sussex, GU29 9RA.
